St David’s Day concert in the University Church, High Street, Oxford, 28 February 2026

OWMVC will return for another year in this well-loved venue – the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, on the High Street in Oxford.

Following our triumphant return from the Wales-Japan rugby match in Cardiff, we’ll be adding some of the pieces we sang on the pitch and from the touchlines. And or course bringing our traditional and evolving selection of Welsh and English songs. And we’re pleased to be presenting ‘VentiQuattro’ , a mixed choir of 24 which is also led by our director, Helen Swift. They will  be bringing an inspired a-cappella rendering of some beautiful pieces of music from previous centuries and the last few years. And to complete the family atmosphere we’ll be bringing you truly enormous quantities of Welsh Cakes, provided by our amazing team of volunteer helpers. We do hope to see you.
